Batucada

Hi, I am trying OpenSounds and would like to post a simple idea. It deals with batucada, the brazilian samba played with percusion instruments only. Although there are some percusion instruments generally used to play batucada (i.e. repinique, surdo, low surdo, tamborim, cuica, caixa), if people do not have them they can join using whatever object that can produce sound. Following this idea, I have used some MIDI sounds and some basic rhythm patterns. The recording has four 8 bars sections and the idea is that anybody could join and add new rhythm patters on some or all those sections.

Bonjour, monsieur Don Juan!

Prosegue la collaborazione del Liceo Musicale Passaglia col Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. Dopo l'esperienza di Barbebleue nel 2012 ( http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLD0AB6C64B4F264D1), in cui dieci giovani compositori, ispirandosi alle musiche di Bartok e coordinati dal loro insegnante di composizione, hanno ideato le musiche originali per uno spettacolo teatrale scritto da allievi del Liceo Machiavelli-Capponi di Firenze, quest'anno il progetto prevede la stesura delle musiche di scena per Bonjour, monsieur Don Juan!

Gesualdo project

Salve, quest'anno (il 2013) è il quarto centenario della morte del compositore Gesualdo da Venosa. Con i ragazzi del Liceo musicale di Potenza abbiamo iniziato un percorso di ricerca storico e compositivo. Per l'occasione lancio l'idea di lavorare ad un progetto di rielaborazione di un madrigale di Gesualdo... Enzo Izzi

Blues / Funky Blues Project

I would like to create a nice funky blues project. I can lay out the backbone of the piece and also play rhythm and solo guitars on it. I could also provide vocals, if the team would like to have a vocal track, but this is not vital. It would be great to hear from you drummers, bassists and keyboard players out there...

Remix the project 'Breadspread'

I will be uploading all tracks as separate files so that people can remix it, but I am eager to hear if someone has suggestions on how we should proceed with remixes. Pop Tune

Hi, my idea is to create a nice pop song. Right now I have recorded drums and bass only using my project studio setup, with standard controller keyboard, a good audio card and my opensource DAW. I hope that some of you can add sime nice melody, guitars and piano maybe.
