Professional communities in reality and networks are composed of projects, visions and ideas shared. Distributed communities are therefore not only the technologies they use and their structure, but also the way that the ideas themselves, in a feedback effect, in turn create and foster close intellectual and creative community.
The OPEN Sounds collaborative area is a space dedicated to transnational cooperation between students with other players in European educational contexts related to music; and interested in research and the development of shared musical creations.
This workspace is a virtual learning environment dedicated to the creation of music: shared support tools are provided to act within it.
The networks of interest in this area are related to:

  • the development of creative musical products
  • skills around the operation of technological equipment (software and hardware) for the production and creation of music
  • the acquisition of more general skills related to collaborative learning environments
